The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This blended learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion, students receive a valid American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.

Babysitter Training

The American Red Cross babysitting courses cover topics such as basic care for infants and children, age-appropriate activities, child behavior, feeding, diapering, safety, and emergency response. Some Red Cross babysitting training also includes guidance on starting a babysitting business.
Students can also complete American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification, which is valid for 2 years upon successful completion. Red Cross lists First Aid and CPR/AED as additional training that complements babysitting courses and helps students safely respond in emergencies.
