Upcoming Sessions

120 US dollars

Class Description

American Red Cross Certification Program (Ages 11–16) Give your teen the skills, confidence, and credentials to babysit safely and professionally. This full-day program combines the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (Blended Learning format) so students leave fully prepared to prevent emergencies — and respond if one happens. How the Blended Learning Format Works The CPR/First Aid/AED portion is completed in two parts: Step 1 – Online Learning (Completed Before Class) After registration, parents will receive an email with a personalized link to complete the American Red Cross online learning modules. These modules must be completed before the in-person class date. Reminder emails will be sent to ensure all participants complete the online portion on time. Step 2 – In-Person Skills Session During class, students will practice and demonstrate hands-on skills including CPR, AED use, choking response, and first aid techniques under instructor supervision. This format allows us to maximize class time for hands-on learning and real-life scenarios. What Teens Will Learn Babysitter Training Topics Caring for infants and young children Safe play and injury prevention Leadership and responsibility Communicating with parents Handling common babysitting challenges CPR / First Aid / AED Skills (2-Year Certification) CPR for adults, children, and infants AED use Choking response First aid for injuries and sudden illness What’s Included American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (valid 2 years) Hands-on skills testing Babysitter supply kit Lunch provided Important Registration Note The online CPR portion must be completed prior to attending the in-person session.
